Prague Stock Exchange (PSE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SIX x-clear Ltd today. They are planning to collaborate together for the purpose of establishment of clearing services by SIX x-clear Ltd for the cash markets operated by PSE.

Effective as of October 10, 2011, IPOPEMA Securities S.A., with its registered office at Waliców 11, Warsaw, becomes a new participant of CSD Prague and its settlement system.
The company EQUILOR ZRt, based in 1037 Budapest, Montevideo u. 2/C., Reg. Nr. Cg 01-10-041-431, becomes the new CSD participant effective from July 1st, 2011.
The Central Securities Depository (CSD) is establishing an endowment fund that enables the holders of securities to dispose of them for free. The endowment fund will open for donations on 1 July 2011. As of that date, holders of accounts kept by the Central Securities Depository will be able to make use of the fund’s services, with the help of CSD participants.
Centrální depozitář cenných papírů Praha, a.s. (Central Securities Depository, CSD) has signed an agreement on mutual membership and cooperation with Centrálny depozitár cenných papierov SR, a.s. (Slovak Central Securities Depository, CSD SR). Pursuant to the agreement signed on 23 June in Bratislava, both institutions will be technically connected in the course of several weeks, which will help in the future to streamline the process of securities trading in Prague and Bratislava.

Fortuna Entertainment Group NV, a company registered in the Netherlands became the first foreign share issue conducted entirely by the CSD Prague. The issue, with a Dutch ISIN (NL0009604859), was to be maintained in the Dutch central depository and the Czech central depository was meant to play the same role as in similar foreign emissions traded on the Prague Stock Exchange - register only the part of the issue held by Czech investors. However, it emerged during the preparations for Fortuna IPO that the Dutch depository was not capable of maintaining the issue for legislation-related reasons. In that moment, following a quick analysis, CSD Prague offered its services to the issuer. Fortuna Entertainment Group NV became the first foreign issue conducted entirely by the Central Securities Depository.
